Morten (Morten Meyerhoff Nielsen)
Morten Meyerhoff Nielsen, Consultant (BA Hon Pol. Sci, MA Int. Econ. Management), has more then six years experience in project management including development and implementation of tender proposals, seminar and conference organisation. Expertise includes ICT Awards and good practice exchange, evaluation of ICT projects, analysis and comparative eGovenrment, IOP, eDemocracy including participation and inclusion aspects, digital literacy, eProcurement and eBusiness (e.g. UBL 2.0, NES and OIO-UBL) as well as ICT in a European and development context. Other areas of expertise include democratization and increased participation in decision-making, trends in public sector modernization, technical assistance and knowledge transfer to SME’s in a regional context and developing countries, international trade and foreign direct investments issues. Morten is the author and co-author of various publications, reviewer for the European Journal of ePractice (www.epractice.eu) plus moderator and contributor to various eDemocracy and eParticipation blogs and networks (www.pep-net.eu and www.epractice.eu/community/eParticipation). Morten also teach on various topics within his area of expertise including workshops and presentations for the European Insittute of Public Administration (www.eipa.eu), Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (www.epfl.ch) and the Maastricht School of Management eGovernment Executive Program (www.msm.nl). Morten has been employed by the Danish Technological Institute since April 2007.
